Response to Midwest weather reports

Laurie and I have been watching the national weather reports with interest, and thought we should share a bit of what we are "enduring" here in LA. We took these videos today as we spent Sunday afternoon contemplating spending Christmas here. Don't worry about us. . .we shall persevere.

We can enjoy some of the same things as all of you, like sledding-with a twist. Every Sunday, weather permitting (and it always does) a drum circle forms at this spot on Hermosa Beach, and folks come to join in and find their "tribal" self.

Seriously, we will miss all of you very much. We wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Please leave comments so I know if you were able to view the videos. I think it is more fun than still photos. Love you all. . .Mark (Dad) and Laurie (mom)

Hi Mark and Laurie,
We miss you! I was able to see the videos and it was fun. Sledding on sand doesn't seem to be quite as thrilling as sledding on snow or ice here, and they didn't seem to have quite the padding on that we do, but it looked like they were getting a thrill as well.
I was proud of you for getting a Christmas tree and not a palm tree. :)
We have plenty of snow here - about12 inches, so we will likely have a white Christmas next week.
Don't suffer too much!

Videos looked great...much different than the ice hill we snowboarded on (i have the bruises to prove it).

Life is rough on the left coast!
I haven't been here in quite a while!
All is well here. Off to Cleveland for Christmas on Saturday. All of the girls are home which is probably the best Christmas gift i can get.
Sure looks cold out there on the beach, with those long sleeves and all!
Merry Christmas my friends!

It is nice to see you moving and talking. :-) My family liked those videos, too. We wish you a very merry Chirstmas from Japan.

Loved the videos. We aren't suffering too much in Fort Worth. It should be in the 70's today and all the way down to 45 on Christmas day. No white Christmas here!!!
